Course Overview

고정된 infrastructure를 가진 유선 또는 1 hop 무선 네트워크(셀룰러)와 달리, ad hoc network는 본질적으로 임의의 통신 그래프 형태의 통신망을 구성하는 무선 링크로 연결된 mobile host들의 autonomous system이다. 따라서, dynamic topology, energy-constrained operation, limited bandwidth, security 문제를 해결하기 위한 다양한 이슈를 공부한다. 특히, ad hoc network의 한 형태인 wireless sensor network에 대한 이슈들을 논의한다.
